Legend Of My Home Town

             My home called "Granada" when ask my grandfather, why they called "Granada" our home town?
Then my grandfather think a few minutes and answer me. I am not sure. But his father told him that their is Legend in our Home Town.

 Legend Of Granada ("Granada means a place")

            The legend start date back from Spanish time when they came here in cebu. They visit all town and barangay in cebu and they name it so that it's easy for them to remember. When they came here in our town and build a watch tower for the protections

from pirate. They saw many plantation of Granada fruits and they love eating the fruits. So the captain of the Spanish soldier they change the name of our town from "Balitang"
to "Granada".


            Even though Spanish change our home town name to Granada. But some of the older people in our town still called our town "Balitang". And that is the Legend of Our Home.
